ARICSCOOPER and its partner Zylog Systems Limited (ZSL), a Pioneer in Mobile Solutions and Products has enabled the M-VISA solution for Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department.

The M-Visa solution is provided by Zylog using its state of the art SMS bar code technology 'ducodes'. Zylog is at the forefront of mobile technologies and is providing mobile solutions to Banks, EGovernment and Telco’s across the globe.

Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD) have launched a mobile M-Visa service, to provide instant messages when entry visa permits are issued.

It is made available for customers who use the online application process. Once relevant payment is made, the visa will be sent by e-mail or text message, which can then be scanned. This replaces paper-mandated visas.

Customers are notified that the visa has been issued by e-mail and SMS. E-mailed visa documents will be in secure PDF format with the logo and authorized signature.

The SMS includes the same barcode printed on the original 2D document - this can be sent to any destination. The VISA sponsor will also receive the same notification. The check points set up at entry gates will be able to read the details of the entry permit directly from mobile devices.
